Sending Ticker Messages to Displays
Introduction
The Vytio IPTV Middleware system allows administrators and authorized users to send scrolling text (ticker) messages to the displays. Messages can be sent to individual displays, groups of displays, or all displays. The platform allows users to set the duration of the messages, the font size/color, background color, and also location.
Accessing the Ticker Console
Log into the VYTIO console, and select Ticker from the menu
Sending a Ticker Message
Select the target devices (All TV’s, a group of TV’s, or one specific TV/Locale)
Type the ticker message
Select Loop method (Indefinite, Loop by Count, or Loop by Time)
Select scroll speed
Select Text Size
Select Text Color
Select Background Color
Select Mode
Select Position
Click Send on the top right corner of the New Ticker frame
Resend a Previous Ticker Message
Select a previously sent Ticker Message from the list in the Recent Ticker frame
Press Send on the top right corner of the New Ticker frame
Press the Stop (square button) on the top right corner of the Recent Ticker frame to stop the ticker playback
